these works.

Part II of the Bill contains general provisions

to be incorporated in future ordinances authorising public

undertakings over and upon unleased Crown foreshore and sea

bed. A separate ordinance will be required before any

new work of the kind contemplated in the ordinance can be

undertaken. This would seem fully to meet the objections

which were raised to the draft Foreshore and Sea Bed Works

Bill.

The provisions in the former Bill regarding notice and compensation have generally been retained in

the new draft Bill.
